研究室簡介

我們研究的方向主要是探討藥物對於心血管疾病進程、血管新生與癌症形成與轉移之影響。我們主要利用細胞生物學、分子生物學及藥理學的方法研究以下主題:
1.藥物對於血小板凝集、白血球參與發炎反應之作用

2.藥物對於血管內皮、平滑肌細胞與癌細胞之增生(proliferation)、貼附(adhesion)、移行(migration)與分化(differentiation) 之作用

3.藥物對於細胞表面黏著分子(adhesion molecules),包括integrin、ICAM-1 及cadherin 表現及訊息傳遞之影響

4.藥物對於細胞與細胞、細胞與細胞外基質(ECM) 之間交互作用之影響近幾年來,我們具體的研究主題包括探討天然物如類黃酮(flavonoids)、茶多酚(tea polyphenols) 與類胡蘿蔔素(carotenoids) 等活性成分對於粥狀動脈硬化發生之預防以及癌症細胞增生、轉移的影響
